I’m getting the “final” step gate prototype this weekend. Docs, info, video coming in December, ready to ship first thing of ’11.

This was an arduino based control pedal for a max/msp based looper designed around the standard firmata library. This was completed ~2008

Had a fun day at AES, tracked down some old favorites, Mark from BAE, Andrew from Purple, and all those midwest folks (Crane Song, Latch Lake, John Hardy) talked to a lot of manufacturers TI, THAT, NKK switch, Neutrik, etc. – Electro switch is now making stomp switches like those favorite old “Carlings” including a nice soft touch all metal stomp (which is nice for tap tempo). Will be back sunday for sure.

AES is this weekend in San Francisco. Should be fun, hope to see you all there.
